Past event
New settings of Christmas favorites
Cole Reyes’s piece Alleluia (The Rose) is about the evolution of traditions. For him, the Latin and English in his piece symbolize the old and the new interacting together, which was particularly poignant as we all celebrated important holidays and other milestones at home, with or sometimes without family. This program builds on that idea, presenting familiar Christmas texts in new settings. Join us to celebrate the holiday season in person together again for the first time since January 2020.

Note: we are offering a variation of this program for this special event presented by Bethel Presbyterian Church.

About Lux

Lux is an award-winning chamber choir dedicated to accessibility in professional-quality choral music performance and education, based in Washington, D.C.
